This year I am really enjoying having a Netbook to work on because it is easier searching for images.it is good at helping me find information.I like going on g mail because I can use it for anything. I am also able

to do tests on the netbook. This year i liked going on math whizz and posting a blog bout my work.

As much as I have loved having a netbook there are some things that I haven’t liked charging my netbook all the time. I wish that i could use it all the time.It is annoying having slow internet. I don’ always like searching for some work onilne.

It would take longer to write on paper,but with a netbook it is much easier and faster to write.

Film festival

Ho like the film festival that day was it so very cool it was so in mass in the thin that i really like is count on me that the fist thin that i like the 2 wno is te new room 15 and it was so funny when you see it. On the way they when we got out off the bass we all got in to ally lion then we went up into the movie when we got in there the girl got to go all the way up to the top and the boys has to stay down the after wno and then when the after school came we all wach the film festival

after that we went back into the bass and went all the way back to school when we got back to school we all had lach.

Tennis

On Thursday we went out onto the court to learn how to play tennis. As we got there

we sat down on the ground. Then Marcel explained to us how to hold the racket and showed us some skills, like serving the ball and how to hit it to your partner. Then we did some skills like hit the ball up and down on the racket and how to hit the ball on the side of the racket,it was so hard I couldn’t do it properly.

We got into partners to play tennis. After we learned how to play, we started our game, but some people kept on hitting the ball far onto the field and I had to go get the ball and bring it back. Tuipulotu served the ball to me then we kept on going until marcel said stop,it was time to pack up.

I really enjoyed the tennis game,it was different from the other sports that i have played,

and it was so much fun.:)

In the holiday

Splash! i ran into the pool and it was faining when i got in the pool then i went it the hot pool because it was cool. After that i went on the slay and we block the weather and we went down
first and i went around in the saly and at the enad of the saly and i hit may class in the
head and then after we went to the hot pools and some off as put a head in the wather.
Then we went to go and get chasl and it was a lone whay back home.when we got home
we play the game and head dinnay then we whash the mover and after the move we all
went to bed. The next day we all got up for beach and we got rend to go out and play
at the play guned and it was so fun they was lot poeple when we went out to play
after we finsh play we got read to go out and had fun in the holiday.

During the holidays I went up north to my auntys. When we got there we saw lots of people over there then we went inside to met them. During Sunday we went back home we went out to play a game of touch. At night we went to go to Eden Park and watch Australia vs All Black. It was a close game but lucky the All Blacks won, just by one point

Badminton

Last Friday we went to play badminton and we learnt how to hold the racquet correctly. You hold it out straight and put your hand around the bat then twist your hand to the side. We learnt how to serve to a partner and how to hit the shuttle under our legs.

To play the game of badminton you only need a few essential things. The things you need
are a racquet, a shuttle, and also a partner to hit the ball. But if you don’t know how to play
ask your friend if they know how to play the game.

I like playing badminton, it’s was fun. It was cool learning some skills and getting to hit the ball. I hope I can try it again next time when she comes.

This term in Maths, we have been learning about Translation in Geometry. Translation means to move the object with out rotating it or resizing it or re-drawing the object. Translation is all about moving things. In this example, we had to make a grid to show what Translation means. I made the object(above) move 2 down and 2 across. It took some time to figure out how to make a grid on Google docs drawing, the end !

THE TORNADO IN AUCKLAND

The tornado hit the North Shore suburb of Albany at around 3pm yesterday, killing one person and injuring around 20, with winds of up to 200kmh ripping through roofs and tossing cars.

A steady stream of people have been stopping and taking photos and about 10 workers from the Place makers construction site have been at the scene since 7am waiting to be allowed to return to their workplace.

Inspector Gary Davey said police hoped to have a better idea in the next few hours what stores at the Mega Centre could reopen.

Shopping centre workers are lining up along the road next to the mall waiting to hear when they will be allowed back to work.

Westfield New Zealand, the owner of the mall, expects the bulk of retail stories to reopen for business at noon today.
Davey said it may be that the shopping area is reopened in stages.

He said while some buildings had been damaged others had escaped unscathed.

There were also other problems.

"We have a store like Animates which has pets in it that we want to be able to give people access to."

Basketball

In the morning Ieremus, Damien and I went to the hall to play basketball. I was doing some tricks like spinning the ball on my finger and passing the ball to Damien and he tried spinning it too. After that we went for a walk to the courts to play a game of basketball and it was Damien and I vs Ieremus and it was fun playing. Ieremus kept on stealing the ball off me when were playing. We kept on missing the hoop. Then we went to go and sit on the seat when we were tired. We went to go and put the ball in Mr Martin’s car. We went back to the street, we watched the video of us playing basketball. The video was cool.

camp TC

On Monday we went to camp. first we put our bags in a group, then we sat on the floor
in the hall. A little later we went to go and put up the tents. When we were done we went
and got our bags and put them into the tents. Next we went to go and play games.

On Tuesday we got up and had something to eat in the morning. After that we got
ready to go to Rock Up. We went to the bottom field and came back to school then we had Hamburgs for Dianne.

On Wednesday we got up then we went to Swimarama. Before we got there we got our togs
first. Then we went on the bus to get they. When we got there we got in to our togs
then we went to go and sit on the floor. Finally we had a swim in the pools and some
people did some bombs in the pools and people were playing tiggy in the pools.

After that we went to go and have some thing to eat for lunch then we went back in the pools but some y8 went to the diving pools and it was fun there. Then we got out of the pools and got readyto go back to camp at school.

When we got back we went home. It was fun at Camp TC.

health camp

When got there we went into the dorms
and we had to look for a room and we had to put our bag in the room .

After we went down to the school.
On the wcekends we went to the bmx track . When we got there some people fell off
the back. After that we went for dinner. After that we went back to the drom and we had a shower then we went to bed.
On school day we all went to school and played with the ball then we all went to class then we did same work.

wolf spider

and the mum carry their babies around where she goes Wolf spiders don’t have
webs.Wolf spiders have very good eyesight and they can run fast.
The babies can live for 2 years and they have a lot of hairs on them
and the colours are brown or grey. They run around at night to get their
food.

The Wheelchair Wheels

Matt and Milly went down on there bikes and into the mud.Then they went Swoosh

into the air and mud went all over them. Milly asked Lee if he wanted to go down the
hill. When Lee went down the hill he hit the rock and went into the mud and got stuck.
So Matt and Milly came to help and they pulled him out.But a wheel came off.
Milly went and got Mum but she couldn't get the wheel back on. So Mum took
the wheelchair to the garage man. He couldn't put the wheel back on so the garage man went away and came back with some motorbike wheels. Everybody was happy because they thought it looked
cool!

The water fight

On the weekend we had a water fight and we got the people that lived on the street.
Next we went down to G.I. to get the person that lived at a house and his name was Paul and we had some water balloons.
After that we all went home and we had a shower then we got in some clothes.

Fat Cat and Mouse

When he went to his hole he saw Fat Cat asleep by the table.
Mouse saw a big cake on on the table. Then Mouse ran to the cake and he started
to eat it. Fat Cat wokeup saw Mouse so her paws came out and she did a big m eo w w w!
Fat Cat jumped up and Mouse had nowhere to run so he hid inside the cake.
Then Fat Cat pushed the cakeoff with her paws. Then Mrs Dee cam into the kitshen
and shouted at Fat Cat. Then Mrs Dee put Fat Cat outside and Mrs Dee picked the cake up
and put it in the cupboard. Mouse had something to eat and a good place to stay.

Jesse Martin

that came to see him at Australia when he got home, his mum was so happy when he came back from his solo sailing trip.

Maritime museum

On Thurday we went to the Maritime museum and all the year 7's went on the bus.
We got to the Maritime museum and we went into the room. Room 19 went to see the movie and room 20 went on the boat. When the movie finished we went on the boat and room 20 watched then movie. We got some sticks and strings to do activities with and we also went under the Habour bridge and saw some poeple jump off, it looked fun jumping off but we had to go back to the Maritime museum.

Finally we went back on the bus to school and then we went home.

The Dunker

We went to camp at school. In the afternoon we went to the dunker. When we got there we read the rules before we sat on the seat.

We lined up then we grabbed 3 balls and when he said ready set go then we chuckeed the ball at the bullseye. If you missed the bullseye 3 times then the next person had a turn. They therw the ball at the bullseye but heaps of people missed the bullseye. Then, Miss Tito sat on the seat and Mrs Nua and Mrs Tele'a chucked the ball at the bullseye. Mrs Tele'a dunked Miss Tito.
Mrs Nua had to do 30 push ups and we all laughed.

I felt happy because it was fun.
